New Power Technologies has introduced and demonstrated the Energynet® power system simulation, a power delivery network model with wide-area scope yet incorporating distribution element-level detail – in essence a “high-definition” view of a power delivery system.
The Energynet model allows network operators and planners to “see” system conditions at every line segment or device -- even where field monitoring is sparse.
This high-definition model is the foundation of the web-based Energynet Power Network Management Platform, which supports a growing variety of network operator applications.
